We won $60 in last night’s trivia game, overcoming several teams of cheaters (even after they were called out for using KGB) and a new host who obviously didn’t know what was going on.
Oh, and at the end when we were announced as the overall winners? We were booed. BOOED. FOR BEING SMART. Booed by a room of cheating college kids.
I guess I shouldn’t be surprised, as in the beginning when our team name was announced during team introductions someone yelled “SHOW US YOUR BOOBS” at me.

HA, god no… they wouldn’t be yelling at *me* in Hooters.
We play at The Mellow Mushroom in Murfreesboro. When we first started going a few months ago it was a pretty good game — good, healthy competition among 10 or so teams. Now it’s gotten more popular and the cheaters are finding out about it. The same thing happened at Buffalo Wild Wings, where we had played for years. It just got too big and people sitting in the back could cheat too easily.
We missed one question the entire game and somehow we barely won. :/
